Education Programs

The SaddleBrooke Community Outreach (SBCO) Scholarship Program provides four-year scholarships to college students and two-year scholarships to technical school and community college students who reside in the SBCO service area.

Interested students should review the SBCO Scholarship Qualifications and Criteria and then complete the SBCO scholarship application form. For more information, call Jim Weeks at 818-0613.

MARCH 1 is the deadline for students to submit 2020 SBCO scholarship applications.

During the 2019-20 school year, a total of 86 students will receive SBCO scholarships, 75 for four-year degrees and 11 for two-year degrees. Scholarships are provided as long as the student has a full course load and maintains the required GPA.

This year, a “second chance” scholarship was approved for students who failed to meet grade requirements during the first year, but subsequently demonstrated a commitment to their education.

To date, many scholarships have been awarded to students attending the University of Arizona, Arizona State University, Central Arizona College and Pima Community College.

Scholarship Endowment Program

In 2019, SBCO instituted a Scholarship Endowment Program that allows four different ways to make monetary donations of $5,000 in value or more. These donations are used to fund scholarships in perpetuity.
