Volunteer of the Year
Mimi Sander
Mimi Sander was honored as Volunteer of the Year for giving generously of her time and talents to make the Teen Closet successful. This program has grown considerably in recent years, and will expand in 2019-2020. There were 82 teens shopping in the past fiscal year, and in this year even more teens in Superior, Ray, and Winkleman will be shopping.

Robson Resort Communities was recognized as the Supporter of the Year for its very-long-time commitment to SBCO, including providing office space in the Minit Market Plaza for a token annual fee. Steve Groth, president of the SBCO Board of Directors, presented the award to Tim Fudge, Robson Communities Director of Facilities.
Lifetime Achievement Award
Ken Siarkiewicz Nan Nasser
Ken Siarkiewicz was recognized for Lifetime Achievement for his long-time volunteer work on countless projects, including Special Events, Finance Committee, administrative operating documents generation and update, webmaster, information technology, and the development of promotional material.
Nan Nasser was recognized for Lifetime Achievement for twice serving as President of the SBCO board, serving as Executive Vice-President, developing administrative operating documents, and grant writing. She is currently serving as SBCO Historian.
